Yes — Ultramar tickets are valid for six months from the purchase date and can be used on any available sailing along the same route (e.g. Puerto Juárez → Isla Mujeres), even if you change your travel date at no extra cost.

Your Ultramar Ferry ticket includes Premium Plus seating—ergonomic European leather seats, air-conditioned cabins, snack bar access, restroom facilities, Wi-Fi, and open-air upper decks. Some vessels even offer a kids’ play zone, live music, and charging outlets.

Standard ferry tickets include up to 25 kg of luggage at no additional charge. Ultramar also permits small pets and bicycles, free of charge, in designated areas on most vessels.

Ultramar recommends arriving at least 30 minutes early at the terminal before your scheduled departure. For the Isla Mujeres route departing from Puerto Juárez, boardings begin 30 minutes prior. For Cozumel departures from Playa del Carmen, they recommend arriving 40 minutes in advance
