  • For safety reasons, women who are up to 5 months pregnant may only participate in the Dolphin Encounter experience if accompanied by another paying adult, after signing the liability form.
  • The dock tax fee is $15 USD per person (Isla Mujeres, Marina Aquatours, and Garrafonn), which must be paid by the guest at check-in.
  • The ISEPAAA tax fee (Tax on Expenditures for Participating in Activities with Aquatic Animals) is $50 MXN per person and must be paid by the guest directly at the ticket booth. Children are charged starting at 6 years old.
  • The use of life jackets is mandatory in all water programs.
  • In Cancun, this experience accommodates groups of up to 10 people.
  • Infants from 1 to 5 years old or Minors with a height of up to 1.20m / 47.24in / 3.93ft will do the Dolphin Encounter behaviors experience and must be accompanied by two paying adults.
  • Children from 6 to 12 years old with a height greater than 1.21m / 47.63in / 3.96ft and a height less than 1.40m / 55.11in / 4.59ft can do the swimming experience accompanied by a paid adult.
  • Children 13 years and older with a height greater than 1.40m / 55.11in / 4.59ft, must pay their ticket as an adult and can swim alone.
  • For safety reasons, cameras and electronic devices are not allowed in the water or the swim area. Professional photos will be available for purchase.
  • Photo package is available during the online purchase process. This package is individual, and photos cannot be combined with another person.
  • Wearing any type of jewelry or accessories that can easily come off is not allowed during the swim.
  • The sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages are only for adults.
  • The land transportation from Costa Mujeres and the Hotel Zone has an additional cost of $10 USD, and $15 USD from Riviera Maya.
  • Activities involving Marine Mammals (Dolphins, Sea Lions, and Manatees) are subject to a Participation Tax for Activities with Aquatic Animals (ISEPAAA), established by the State Government of Quintana Roo. This tax will be collected at check-in, at a rate of $ 3 USD per person, and applies to guests aged 6 and above.
