Cancun is one of the most famous tourist destinations around the world due

equipment for a cheap price. Akumal Beach is a popular nesting site for sea
turtles between May and November. If you’re lucky, maybe you can swim with

Itza is a must when you are in the area. The archaeological zone is located 2.5

for children and recreational areas for picnics.

Admission to Parque Urbano Kabah is free year-round, and its lush jungles are

• El Meco Archaeological Zone
The El Meco archaeological zone is a complex of Mayan ruins located about 8 km
northeast of Cancun. This area, which used to be a port for Isla Mujeres, has

Mercado 28 is a craft market that has more than 100 stalls and is located on
Sunyaxchén Avenue, in downtown Cancun.
In this market you will be able to observe and learn about the beautiful crafts
made of leather, silver and glass, as well as sunglasses and kitsch shirts for
tourists. You can also get to know the different restaurants of typical Mexican
food and at excellent prices.
This is a mandatory stop that you must make during your stay in Cancun, so don’t
forget it and write this place on your list.

• Visit the Nichupte Lagoon
Touring part of this Laguna Nichupte is one of the activities that you should not
overlook. This is one of the most emblematic places in Cancun and is part of the
list of free things to do in Cancun.
At the height of the art garden at kilometer 5, you can get into the water and cool
off.
Walking along the shore on your own and enjoying the clash between the lagoon
