On this semi-virgin beach, you can swim and snorkel among sea turtles. The main town has several restaurants and dive shops, where you can rent equipment for a cheap price. Akumal Beach is a popular nesting site for sea turtles between May and November. If you’re lucky, maybe you can swim with them. Just make sure you don’t touch them.
